Rebel Wilson Gets the Leading Role in the New “Isn’t It Romantic?”

 Rebel Wilson is one of the most promising young talents in comedy in Hollywood today. The earnest actress is proving yet again her talent in the upcoming “Isn’t it romantic’ that nothing can slow her down in the quest to become of one the greatest women comedians the world has ever seen.

It has taken years to get to that level, in a journey the actress says requires patience.

Rebel Wilson is on the right path with her dreams of becoming a household name in Hollywood. The Australian-born star is taking it a notch higher with a leading role in the yet-to-be-released “Isn’t It Romantic?” The movie is a romantic fantasy comedy scheduled for release in February 2019 during the Valentines season.

Rebel Wilson, has in the past featured in other movies such as “Pitch Perfect” and “Bridesmaids”. In the new comedy, she plays the role of ‘Natalie’ and the trailer has already captured the attention of the global media.

Rebel Wilson, as Natalie (New York-based Architect), is the epitome of a woman struggling in the workplace. Although she is a qualified architect, she often finds herself doing odd jobs in the office, like delivering coffee and bagels, rather than participating in the designing of the city’s landmark buildings.

To add on to her misfortunes, the already pessimistic Natalie (especially on matters love), unfortunately, encounters a robber who makes her unconscious. Her mate in the movie, Aussie Liam Hemsworth is portrayed as Natalie’s opposite, hitting her head and waking up to see the world through rom-com-colored glasses. Other stars in the movie include Jennifer Saunders (as Natalie’s mother), Adam Devine (Natalie’s best friend) Priyanka Chopra, Betty Gilpin, and comedian Michelle Buteau.

“Isn’t It Romantic” was written by Erin Cardillo and Dana Fox & Katie Silberman and directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson.

Rebel started her acting career in at early age, courtesy of her high school teacher who pushed her to involve in acting competition and programs.

Growing up and timid and shy, Wilson came out of her shell to become a confident actress with a stage presence that in her own words is ‘unique and magical’. The all-girls Christian high school she attended, was monumental in shaping her career with constant encouragements to pursue one’s passion with earnest and Zeal.

Rebel says that she has had to face and overcome many challenges like any other individual in pursuit of his/her career, but gives herself credit for never giving up and always aiming higher.
