The journey that defined the musical career of Norka Luque breathes a fresh air of positivity and offers motivation to others in pursuit of their dreams. . Norka, a Venezuelan based in America, discovered her love and passion for music at a tender age and has made it her goal to bring a message of hope and positivity through her music. Her parents accorded her unconditional support when they enrolled her for voice practice classes, ballet, piano and flamenco that were instrumental in developing her musical training alongside her education.
Norka undertook her studies in Business Administration while in France and was awarded with degrees in Marketing, Culinary Arts and Fashion. It was when she was in France that Norka got the chance to become a band member. This made her dream of becoming a musician alive but it was not until when her work attracted the interest of Emilio Estefan Jr., a renowned musical producer. This opened her doors of achieving her long dream of becoming a professional singer. Norka describes this opportunity as a miracle and herself as blessed to be working with Emilio on her music. She learns a lot from the renowned producer. Norka believes that she can change the world to a better place through her music as it is the same conviction that helped her deal with a huge personal crisis.
About Norka Luque
Norka Luque was born on February 7, 1986 in Caracas, Venezuela and her music career has been well guided by Emilio Stefan, a renowned Latin American producer. She released “Como lo Haces Tu” , her first singlein in 2011, and she got nominated in Premios Lo Nuestro Awards for the “Best Female Pop Artist“. At the beginning of 2012, she released her second single “Milagro” which was the name of the album. The song comprised of salsa, urban, pop and dance English versions. All the versions performed greatly in the various music charts in their different genre.
The song “Milagro” was written by Archie Pena, a music composer, and made into several versions. Cucco Pena made the salsa version that held the number one spot in Venezuela for a record 14 weeks. A dance version in English dubbed “Miracle” was remixed by DJ Ralphi Rosario, it held the number 11 spot on the Billboard Dance Club.
